Charles Stephen Klempka, 78, of Cortland, NY passed away on Thursday May 7, 2026. He was born on July 27, 1947, the son of the late Joseph and Edna Klempka.
Charles was a loving husband, brother, and friend. In his free time, he enjoyed being active and spending time with Jennifer. Charles loved all sports. Throughout his life, he played every sport you can think of. He particularly enjoyed biking, hiking, running, and working out. He was a long-time member of the YMCA and his physical fitness was one of his main priorities.
Charles is survived by his wife Jennifer Ann Mantella, his brother Thomas (Karen) Klempka, his nieces, and his pet parrot.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Paul Klempka.
In keeping with his wishes, Charles donated his body to the SUNY Upstate Anatomical Gift Program.
