I was privileged to play many rounds of golf with Mr. Swisher and was always amazed how his talent never waned. He would share stories of his time volunteering at Induction weekends in Cooperstown and memorabilia he had collected. Especially his Yankees! But, what will remain my best memory was he never failed to ask me how my Mom and Dad were.

Q: What will you never forget about William?
A: Great memories of Bill playing baseball in Orangeville, PA while I was growing up-i looked forward to going to all games and watching him. Also, enjoyed visiting with him at his in-laws who were my neighbors.

I haven't seen Bill in quite a few years now, as one might understand I last saw him at Walden Oaks on a league night.
I met Bill through a good mutual friend Rick Williams who played on my softball team years back.
Bill also played softball on George Burenga's team Burger King.
It is with a sad and heavy heart that I send my condolences to his daughters and grandchildren.
