Christian Gage Stewart, 29, of Cortland, NY passed away on Tuesday June 2, 2026. He was born on February 13, 1997, in Cortland, NY. Christian was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend whose presence brought laughter, conversation, and companionship to those fortunate enough to know him. One of Christian's most cherished qualities was his gift for conversation. Whether on a short trip across town or a long car ride, he could always be counted on to keep everyone talking, laughing, and engaged. His ability to connect with others made him a loyal friend and a joy to be around. Most recently, Christian worked at Hairy Tony's in Cortland, where he took pride in his work and formed meaningful friendships, including a close bond with the restaurant's owner and staff. His kindness, humor, and genuine nature left a lasting impression on everyone he met. Christian will be remembered for his loving heart, his loyalty to family and friends, his enthusiasm for the things he enjoyed, and the countless memories he created with those he loved. Christian is survived by his loving parents Wendy Pierson and Leon Stewart, his siblings Tyler Pierson, Caleb (Amber) Pierson, Eleni (Brody) Towner, Forest Stewart, and Spencer Stewart, his best friends Tylor, Eric, and Tyler, and many nieces and nephews.
