Hazel Fern Lombardi, 88, passed away August 6, 2026 at the Cortland Care Center, Cortland NY, where she had been residing to be closer to her family.
She is survived by her siblings Mary Oltz, Russell Meeker, and Clark Meeker, several nieces and nephews. Her family will cherish her memory for her work ethic and sense of humor.
Hazel was predeceased by her husband Daniel Lombardi in 2011.
Services will be Saturday August 15, 2026, 11 am at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045. Burial next to her husband will be held Wednesday August 19, 2026, 11 am at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Elmira NY.
