Obituary of Mary Lou Marade

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Lou Marade ,77, on August 11, 2026, with family by her side. She was born May 11, 1949 in Cortland, the daughter of the late Charles and Lulu Hughes Gleason. Mary enjoyed crafting, spending time with her family, traveling, reading and her animals. She was proud of her family and nothing brought her more joy than her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was always excited to be traveling with her husband anywhere life led them. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Robert Marade, her children Robert C. Marade (Sommer), Holly Marade (Kevin), Julie Chamberlain (George) and adopted daughter Heather Ross (Norm). Her grandchildren Cole, Aydin, Kaylynn, Kevin Jr, Devin, Kitana, Brennen Jr and Angel. Her great grandchildren Oaklynn, Kolton and Kora. Though she will be deeply missed, those who loved her find comfort in the life she lived and the lasting memories she leaves behind. May her journey continue in peace, and may her memory forever be a blessing. A celebration of life will be held privately.
