Ray E. Coon, 68, passed away August 24, 2026, with family by his side. He was born October 18, 1967.
Ray was a lifelong resident of the area. Attended Homer school, loved fishing, hunting, golfing, wine making and dancing especially to the song Train Train.
He is survived by his wife Karen Barney Coon, his two sons Jake (Kara) and Josh (Andrea) and two grandsons Jackson and Colson. Two sisters Debra (Keith) Kabanuk and Roxanne Julian and two brothers Rodger Coon and Delbert (Cyndi Underwood) Coon.
Ray was predeceased by father Malcolm W. Coon, his mother Dorothy Coon, and his brother Jerry Wildman.
A Celebration of Ray's Life will be held September 12th at 1:00 pm at the Malcolm Coon pavilion, Scott, NY. The Wright-Beard Funeral Home is serving the family, online condolences may be left at www.wright-beard.com
