Obituary of Jesse Ann Dayton

Jesse Ann Dayton, 46, of Cincinnatus, New York, passed away September 27, 2026, surround by her family after a brief illness.

Jesse was born July 3,1980, in Norfolk, Virginia, to Cynthia and Arthur Dayton. She graduated from Cortland High School and proudly served in the United States Marine Corps from 1998 to 2002 at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina. She enjoyed several hobbies including reading, learning new things, gardening, and teaching children to swim as part of the SWIMkids USA program.

Jesse is survived by her son, Niko Ingle (Natalee) whom she treasured deeply; her mother and stepfather, Cindy and Bennie Bush; brothers Lucas (Libby) Bush, Levi (Brianna) Bush, Harley (Tiffany) Spatz; and two nieces that she loved dearly, Bella and Sophie Bush.

She is also survived by her paternal grandmother, Laura Dayton, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 10th, at 12 noon, at the Homer Elks Lodge, 82 Cortland St, Homer, NY.
