Arthur "Art" Clink, 59, of McGraw passed away Tuesday at his home after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born Dec. 28, 1956 in Endicott, NY, the son of the late Lewis Clink and Carleen Silvey. Art has been a longtime resident of the Cortland area. He graduated from Union Endicott High School in 1976. Art worked for SUNY Cortland for 25 years until his retirement. He was a past member of the Elks and DAV. Art enjoyed playing golf and was a member of the Willowbrook Golf Course for over 25 years. Art is survived by his wife Jeanne, his daughters Krystal and Nicole Clink, Brothers Douglas (Sandra) Silvey, David (Dan), and Lewis (Janelle) Clink, Sisters Catherine Silvey, Cindy Chappina, Tammi (Dana) Dean, Cheri (Mike) Miner, and Carla Fanning, grandchildren Olivia, Sophia, Brionna, Julian, Owen, Austin, and Elliott, brother-in-laws Robert (Cathy) Gamel, Mike (Connie) Vormwald, Tom (Penny) Vormwald., many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A special mention to the Sears and Timmerman families, St. Charles coffee crew, and Willowbrook Golf Team. A memorial service will be held 3 PM Saturday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland. Friends may call 12-2:45 prior at the funeral home.
