Obituary of Clyde J. Greene

Clyde J. Greene, 54, of Freeville NY, passed away October 16, 2016. He was born January 28, 1962 the son of the late Merwin and Betty Matson Greene, Sr. Clyde was a lifelong resident of the area. He served with U.S. National Guard and was honorably discharged. Clyde was currently employed with Walmart. His family will cherish his memory as a loving man who had a wonderful sense of humor. He is survived by his son KC Greene, his daughters Amy (Aelicia) Greene, Kimberly (Lauren) Greene, his girlfriend Tina Bartholomew, his brothers Frank Greene, Merwin Greene Jr., James Greene, and Ronald Greene, his sisters Penny Newton, Sally Scott, and Janet Ayers, his grandchildren CJ, Dawson, Mahayle, and Liam, along with many nieces and nephews. A calling hour will be held Friday 10-11 am with a funeral to begin 11 am at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045. Burial will follow at the Virgil Cemetery.
