Obituary of Elaine R. Stark

Elaine R. Stark, 81 of Cortland passed away on October 22, 2016 at her residence. She was born on July 17, 1935 a daughter of the late John and Hazel Burdick Alexander Sr., in Cortland, NY. Elaine was a bar tender at Allio-O’graties and the St. Charles for many years. She had previously worked as a cook and waitress at several local restaurants’. Elaine is survived by five sons, Steve and Lynn Timmons, Allan ‘Bub’ Timmons, Daryl and Sherry Timmons, Dickie and Shelly Stark, Michael and Teena Stark, one daughter Michelle Stark, twenty one grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by one son Patrick Stark, two husbands, Alvin Timmons, and Bert Stark, one brother John Alexander Jr. Calling hours will be held on from 4:00-7:00 PM Thursday, October 27, 2016 at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave Cortland, NY. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 28, 2016 at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. Burial will take place at the family’s convenience.
