Obituary of David T Ripic

David T.”Rip” Ripic 70, of Cortland, passed away after a brief illness November 30, 2016 surrounded by his loving family and close friends Connie Uzailko, Steven Campbell and Scottie Stout. David was born August 1, 1946 in Endicott, NY the son of the late Andrew and Anna Ripic. David had been employed as the manager of the Meat Dept. at Clarks Food Mart in Dryden. His memberships included the Homer Elks, and the DAV. David had a passion for Golf, bowling, and playing pitch. And was an avid Giants fan. He is survived by his Loving wife Dale Hill Ripic of Cortland his children Matthew Julian, Steven (Christine) Ripic his step children Jeremy (Jennifer) Searls, Stacy (Mike) Phalen, and Heidi (Daniel) Velez. His brothers Andrew (Bernice) Ripic, Paul (Barbara) Ripic, and Edward (Judy) Ripic His sister Ann Marie Martinos, His grandchildren Natalie, Amanda, Ryan, Andrew, Bret , Ethan, Danielle, Morgan, Carson, Zuri and Clair His loving and faithful Canine companion Maggie. In addition to his parents David was recently predeceased by his sister Shirley Miller. A memorial service will be held Wednesday December 7, 2016 at 12:00 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland ,with the Rev David Carter officiating .
