On February 10, 2017, Lloyd Henry Morgan passed away peacefully at his home after a courageous battle with cancer. Lloyd was born on May 15, 1945, the son of the late Charles & Agnes Henry Morgan. Lloyd was a graduate of Cortland High School, Class of 1963. Before his retirement, he was a self-employed distributor for McKee Foods for 29 years. After retirement, he delivered "Meals on Wheels" for the Cortland County Office of Aging. He was a long standing member of the Cortland Elks Lodge #748 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars #2354. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Ethel Camillo Morgan, and his beloved daughter, Camilla Morgan. He is also survived by his sister, Margaret (Tom) Schappe, his aunts, Irene Henry Nemecek , Dorothy Henry and Nancy Henry, his sister-in-law, Lucianne Camillo, brother-in-law, Dan Camillo, nieces and nephews, including special nephews, Daniel (Janine) Camillo, Christopher (Tammy) Camillo and their children, Sean, Andrew, Callie Rose and Adrie, and many cousins. Family and friends are invited to calling hours 5-7 PM Tuesday, February 14 at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. 9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland, NY. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the St. Mary's School Tuition Assistance Fund, 61 N. Main Street, Cortland, NY 13045, or, Hospicare, 11 Kennedy Parkway, Cortland, NY 13045. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery will take place at a later date.
