Obituary of Marie F Dann

Marie F. Dann, 62, of Cortland, N.Y., and formerly of Marathon, N.Y., passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Cortland Regional Medical Center. Marie was born July 10, 1954 to Dawn and Louis Odinek. She attended Marathon High school and graduated in 1972. She went on to earn a degree/certificate in nursing from Tompkins Cortland Community College. She worked as a registered nurse in Cortland for over 30 years. She had a strong passion and love for animals and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Marie is survived by her mother Dawn Odinek of Cortland, her children Rebecca (Matt) Lowie of Cortland and Ian Dann of Liverpool, her grandchildren Ella Lowie and Brynn Lowie of Cortland. She is preceded in death by her father Louis Odinek. A memorial service will be held on Monday, May 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Wright Beard Funeral Home in Cortland. A celebration will follow the memorial at Rex's Pasta in Cortland.
