Dolly R. Howe, 83, of 51 Port Watson St., Cortland NY, passed away July 23, 2010 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center Nursing Facility. She was born November 22, 1926 in Freetown Corners NY, the daughter of the late Charles and Nora Johnson Eaton. Mrs. Howe was employed by the Marathon School District for many years and also enjoyed being a housewife. In her spare time she enjoyed crocheting and being a member of the Cortland RSVP. She is survived by her sons Robert C. Howe of Ithaca NY, Daniel Lee Howe of Kansas, Roy Lee (Kathy) Howe of Florida, brothers Donald Eaton of Willet NY, sister Mary Kearns of New Jersey, three grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Howe was predeceased by her husband Gordon Howe. A calling hour will be held Thursday 10-11 am at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave Cortland NY with a funeral to begin 11 am.
