John C. Glover, 56, of 19 Lansing Ave, Cortland, passed away unexpectedly July 17, 2010 at the Cortland Regional Medical Center. Mr. Glover was born October 1, 1953 in Cortland the son of the late Carroll and Bertha Coudts Glover. Mr. Glover had been a lifelong resident of the area. He had been employed for 28 years at Henkle Technologies in Homer. John enjoyed hunting, fishing and being outdoors. John is survived by his wife Colleen K. James Glover, son Bronson Glover of Homer and step-son; Christopher James of Cortland. Two brothers Pastor James (Patricia) Glover of Indiana, and George (Linette) Glover of Sempronius, NY. One sister Barbara Weiss of FL. Two grandchildren; Caleb and Nyla as well as several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his mother Bertha in January of this year and his father Carroll in 1995.. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 3:00 at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland. Interment will follow in the Sand Hill Cemetery in Dresserville, NY. Friends are invited to call on Thursday from 1:00 €“ 3:00 PM prior to the funeral service. Our sincere sympathy go to all of John's family.
