Anna M. VanAtta 82 of Groton passed away July 17, 2010 in Cortland Regional Medical Center.
Anna was born August 1, 1927 in Cuyler, the daughter of the late Charles and Bertha Neal Slack
She had been employed by Smith Corona for over 20 years; she enjoyed spending time with her family.
Anna is survived by her children Ronald VanAtta of Groton, Bill (Debbie) VanAtta of McGraw, David VanAtta of Groton, Donald VanAtta of Ithaca, Kathy (Kevin) Tillotson of North Dakota, Annamae (David) Campbell of Rochester, her brothers Elmer Slack of Homer, Charles Slack of Washington DC , Harold Slack of Cortland, 8 grandchildren 6 great-grandchildren , several nieces and nephews
In addition to her parents Anna was predeceased by her husband Donald and sisters Doris and Thelma
Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Thursday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. interment will follow in McLean Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call from 11:00 am €“ 12:45 pm prior to the service
