Wendi Lee Barker, 46, of Haights Gulf Rd., Cortland NY, passed away July 13, 2010 at St. josephs Hospital, Syracuse NY. She was born March 31, 1964 in Cortland NY. Wendi was raised and educated locally graduating from Homer High School. She was employed by Marietta Corp. and enjoyed being a homemaker. She liked watching NASCAR, especially attending the Watkins Glen Race with her family and friends who will miss her dearly. She is survived by her husband Clark Barker of Cortland, her daughters Cheri Miller of Cortland, Natasha (Hugo) Pedro Martinis of Cortland, her father Charles (Helen) Miller of Georgia, sister Brenda (Charles) Scutt of Cincinnatus, grandchildren Rylee Sue, Cammie, and Cesar, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her mother Dora Miller. A calling hour will be Tuesday July 20, 11 am-12 noon with a funeral to begin 12 noon at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc 9 Lincoln Ave Cortland NY. Burial will follow in the East Homer Cemetery. I've had 2 siblings pass away, my brother Chuck and my sister Carol and I know its hard Bonnie Doughty We were so sorry to learn of Wendi's death and our thoughts and prayers are with the family,.
