Albert R. Park 89 of Cortland passed away June 4, 2010 in Cortland Regional Medical Center. Albert was born October 1, 1920 in Phoenix, NY the son of the late Harry and Margaret Robbins Park. He owned and operated his own dairy farm for several years, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and woodworking, but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a member of the Masons, and former committee member of the FHA. Albert is survived by his children John (Deborah) Park of Cortland, Gary (Grace) Park of Cuyler, and Mary Jo (Gary) Lawrence of Cortland, his friend and loving companion Virginia Swain, 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Albert was predeceased by his wife Norma, brothers Robert and Stuart Park, and sisters Alda Moore, Betty Hitchcock, and Helen Buck Funeral services will held 12:00 pm Monday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. with the Reverend Suzanne Block officiating interment will follow in Truxton Cemetery.
