Stephanie A. Miller 56 of Freeville passed away February 26, 2010 at the home of her sister in Marathon surrounded by her loving family. Stephanie was born March 17, 1953 in Cortland the daughter of James and Edna Kingsley Yacano. Stephanie was a graduate of Cortland High School class of 1971; she enjoyed shopping, cooking, making jewelry, crocheting and spending time with her family. She is survived by her children Aimee Miller of Georgia, Deann (William) James of Georgia, Tammy (John Steger) Miller of Spencer, joseph (Christine King) Miller of Groton, grandchildren Tiffany, Steffanee, Harleigh, Erica, Kristen, John, Catlyn, Meghan, (Tyler) Cory, a great grandchild Lilly, her sister Lynne Nye of Marathon, her father James (Phyllis Fuller) of Groton, a special niece Nicole Morsey and great niece Brooklyn. Her Godchild Jeremy, several nieces and nephews. Stephanie was predeceased by her husband Clifford, her mother Edna and brother joseph Yacano. Memorial Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland, Friends are invited to call Wednesday evening from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. It helps a little when you consider that she is reunited with Cliff - she loved him so much in life that I believe that the love will continue in death. I have so many fond memories of Cliff and Steph that it is hard to separate them. Steph was a great lady and a wonderful friend thru some of the turbulent times in my life. She was a one of a kind - the good lord knew that he had come up with the greatest and he broke the mold. I wish her family the best going foreword.
