Edna M. Clark 92, of Cortland passed away December 1, 2009 in Homer, NY, surrounded by her family. Edna was born February 19, 1917 in Georgetown the daughter of the late David and Bertha Jacobe Jones. Edna was a loving mother, and grandmother, enjoyed spending tine with her family. Edna had been employed at Crescent Corset Company for several years retiring in 1978 She is survived by her Children Stanley (Betty) Pierce of Virginia, Deborah (Scott Harris)) Gates of Cortland, Cheryl (Dan) Weddle of Homer, Step children Gary (Laura) Clark, Deborah (John) Micol, Joanne (Gregg) Brandt all of New Jersey, several loving grandchildren, and great-grand children. Her sister Angeline Sue (Donald) McClory of Cortland, her son in law Al Hall. Several nieces and nephews. Edna was predeceased by her husbands Frank Wallace Reynolds in 1969, Robert Clark in 1999, her daughter Darlene Hall in 2000, Sisters Ada Natale, Lula Burnett, Betty Root, Jennie Jones, brothers David and Claude Jones. Her loving caregivers Bonnie, Linda, Doreen, Rose and Rosie. . A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. with the Reverend John Gay Officiating interment will follow in Cortland Rural Cemetery; Friends are invited to call Friday evening from 5-8 pm at the funeral home. I will never forget all the good talks, laughs and fun we had together, especially when she would come down to Florida to stay with us. I will truly miss her smile, laugh, honesty and loving heart.
