Obituary of Robert Stevens

Robert Stevens, 78 of 12 Brown Ave, Cortland , passed away at home August 26, 2009 surrounded by family. Mr. Stevens was born December 27, 1930 in Cortland the son of the late Cleon and Iva Stafford Stevens. Mr. Stevens had been a lifelong resident of the community. He retired from SUNY Cortland after 44 years as a carpenter. Mr. Stevens is survived by his wife of 59 years LoisKniffenStevens, two sons; David (Angela) of Cortland, and Douglas (Christina) of Cortland. Three daughters; Dianne (Mary Guido) of Cortland , Daphne (Keith Gillette) Stevens of Freetown and Dodie (Thomas) Hartmann of Sempronius. Ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Honoring Mr. Stevens request there will be no services.
