James Ralph Stafford 81 of Cortland passed away August 12, 2009 in Cortland Regional Medical Center. James was born August 18, 1927 in Cortland, the son of the late Glenn and Jennie Bean Stafford.
He attended Syracuse University prior to joining the US Army during WWII, he had been a Technical Writer for companies in New York City and California.
James is survived by his son KurtRalph (Karen) Stafford of Lafayette ,his 5 grand children, cousins Helen Wadsworth of Waterloo, Martha Schmalz of Bonita Springs Florida, Elaine Adley of Pueblo Co.and several other cousins
Funeral Services will be held 12:00 pm Saturday August 22, 2009 at the Wright-Beard Funeral9 Lincoln Ave, Cortlnd with the Reverend James Hick Officiating interment will follow in Cortland Rural Cemetery .
Friends are invited to call from 11:00- 11:45 am prior tothe service.
