David A. Partis 69 of Cortland passed away suddenly July 31, 2009 in Oneida. David was born July 20, 1940 in Syracuse the son of the late Perce and Maude Leavitt Partis Dave was a self-employed construction surveyor and enjoyed spending time at his camp, hunting, andsnowmobiling, but must of all spending time with his family ,especially his grandchildren. He was a member of the Cortland Elks Lodge. Dave is survived by his wife of 49 years Stella Minielli Partis of Cortland His children William ( Carol) Partis of Groton, Jeffrey ( Suzzanne ) Partis of Cortland, Andrew (Stephanie) Partis of Cortland , Susan (John) Morehouse of Cortland, his brother Ronald (Marilyn) Partis of Binghamton, 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren , his brother and sister in law Anthony (Jerri) Minielli ,several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at the Grace Episcopal Church 13 Court St. with the Very Reverend Sally Heilgman officiating. Friends are invited to call Tuesday evening from 5-8 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Interment will be in Glenwood Cemetery Homer.
