Kenneth W. "Buck" Horner died peacefully at his home in East Freetown on June 14, 2009. He was born in Cortland on Sept. 26, 1937. He was employed at Homer Agway for many years until his retirement in 1992. He is survived by his wife Janet Doolittle Mack Horner, sons Justin (Betty) Horner of Florida, Dwayne and Jeff (Linda) Horner of Pennellville, NY and Levi (Jennifer) Horner of Washington, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Buck was predeceased by his parents Walter and Vada Horner, son Chris "Pit" Horner, and sister Virginia Cole. There will be no services as per his wishes.
