Obituary of Anna W. Rindge

Anna W. Rindge, 92, of Calvary Dr. Norwich and formerly of Cortland passed away Wed. May 20 at Chenango Memorial Nursing Home, Norwich. She was born Feb. 6, 1917 in Horton, NY, the daughter of the late Ferris and Effie Smith Warren. Anna worked for SCM for over 25 years. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, quilting and bowling. Anna is survived by her sons Olin Gordon of Unadilla, John (Violet) Gordon , step son Douglas Rindge of PA, brother Melvin (Rose) Warren of Mt. Marcy, sisters Isabelle Stone of S. New Berlin, Charlotte Depuala, many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rindge was predeceased by her husband Donald Rindge in 1987, daughter Rosemarie Rossler, 4 brothers, and 2 sisters. Funeral services will be held 11am Tuesday May 26 at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland with Rev. John Gay officiating. Interment will be in Coventry Cemetery.
