Charles L. Randall 75, of Preble passed away November 18, 2013 at Cortland Regional Nursing Facility. Charlie was born March 26, 1938 in Cortland, the son of the late Orley and Thelma Gordon Randall. Charlie served his country with the United States Air Force. He was owner of Charlie’s Barber Shop in Preble, and had retired from Saulsbury Fire Equipment. He was an avid Sports Fan, a member of the Preble Fire Department, Preble Congregational Church, and enjoyed spending memorable times with his friends and family. Charlie is survived by his daughter Nicole (Tom) Mahoney of California, granddaughter Amanda, brother Richard (Annie) Randall of Homer, sister Marlene Henry of West Monroe, NY, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Charlie was predeceased by siblings: Thomas, Edward, Kenneth, and Martha (Van Housen.). A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Friday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland, with Pastor Becky West presiding. Interment will follow in Elmwood cemetery Preble. Friends are invited to call from 11:00 am –12:45 pm prior to the service.
