Robert G. Schreffler 60, of Homer passed away August 21, 2010 at home. Robert was born October 9, 1949 in Syracuse the son of Larry and Evelyn Goodell Schreffler. He had been employed at Salisbury Fire Equipment for several years and was an avid NASCAR fan, and enjoyed spending time with his sons at the microd track during their racing years. Robert is survived by his wife Shelley Daniels Schreffler of Homer, his sons Robert (Rochelle Wright) Schreffler , and Steven Schreffler both of Cortland, his step daughter Kimberly Granato of Cortland, his father Larry Schreffler of Florida, brothers Gary and Roxanne Schreffler of Florida, Richard Schreffler of Cortland , sisters Theresa (Gilbert) Kozer of Cortland, Cynthia Schreffler of Cortland, his grandchildren Modesty, Serenity, Brandon, and Brianna Schreffler, his step grandson Michael Granato several nieces and nephews Robert was predeceased by his mother Evelyn Schreffler and son Jason Funeral Services will be held 12:00 pm Friday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. interment will follow in Virgil Cemetery.
