Edward M. Caufield 80, of McGraw passed away December 29, 2012 at home surrounded by his family.
Ed was born March 1, 1932 in Cortland the son of the late Martin and Blanche Wright Caufield.
Ed served his country with the United States Army serving in Korea; he had been employed as an electrician with the IBEW in Syracuse.
He enjoyed spending time with his family at his cottage in Canada, traveling to visit his family members out of state, snowmobiling, and a member of the Baslin Mountain Hunting Club.
Ed is survived by his children: Catherine (Mark) Edmonds of Tennessee, Martin (Jeanine) Caufield of South Carolina, Barbara (Ty) Bello of Indiana , his grandchildren joseph Bello, Jennifer Edmonds, Christopher Bello, Kevin Edmonds, great grandchild Taylan Bello, his brother James (Patricia) Caufield of McGraw, sister Elizabeth Hubbard of Georgia, niece Donna Coleman ,nephews Todd and Gene Caufield.
Memorial services will be held 7:00 pm Wednesday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave with the Reverend Matthew Smith officiating, Friends are invited to call from 5:00 €“ 7:00 pm prior to the service.
