Donna M. Reynolds 62, of Cortland passed away September 9, 2009 at home surrounded by her family.Donna was born May 2, 1947 in Cortland the daughter of the late Charles and Katherine Smith Lawson. Donna had been employed as a nurse at Cortland Regional Medical Center, the Jewish Home of Central New YorkCortland Care Center and most recently at Northwood's at Cortland serving as a nurse manager Donna is survived by her husband Pierce Reynolds of Cortlandher children Roy.Chuck" Everett of Solvay, Annette Everett. Michael, Derek and RJ Reynolds all of Cortland. Her grandchildren Katie, Jackie, joshua, Jordyn, Jillian, Funeral Services will be held 10:00 am Monday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland.Friends are invited to call Sunday from 2:00 -5:00 pm at the Funeral Home. I will never forget Donna, the times that I went to her house to play with the kids and even the rides to work with her. I worked with Donna at the Cortland Nursing Home. Debra I'm sorry for your loss. i just heard about Donna. I worked with Donna when she was my Assistant Director of Nursing at the Jewish Home. She had a great sense of humor ,always showed alot of compassion for the residents and families. She was hard working never stopped til the job was done right. She was wonderful nurse and great to work with. When she talked about her family you could see how much she loved each one. She is now looking down from a special star watching over everyone.
