Obituary of Robert H Jones

Robert H. Jones 83 of Little York passed away February 28, 2010 in Canton, Georgia . Robert was born January 3, 1927 in Scott the son of the late Ralph and Blanche Roberts Jones. He owned and operated the Jones farm for many years, he was a member of the Homer Congregational Church, since 1940, Cortland Farm Bureau, and had served as chairman of the Atwater Cemetery Association for 19 years. He was a 17 year member of Cortland Soil and Water Conservation and a lifetime member of Homer Grange. He enjoyed spending many winters in Apache Junction, AZ. He is survived by his wife Dora Breeds Jones of Little York, his children Stuart Jones, of Canton , GA , Edwin (Laura) Jones of Cortland, NY Robert (Deanna) Jones of Liverpool, NY, Debra ( Douglas ) Dutcher of Otego, NY, and Rebecca (Jeffrey Palm) Jones of Cortland, 10 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Robert was predeceased by his brothers Donald R. Jones, R. Darrell Jones, Sisters Wilma Dimorier and Margaret Maier Memorial services will be held 11:00am Saturday at the Homer Congregational Church Spring interment will be in Atwater Cemetery.
