Francis A. Frank Rich Sr. 68 of Marietta passed away April 25, 2010 in Syracuse, NY Frank was born January 9, 1942 in Cortland the son of the late John and Wilma Folts Rich. He served his country with the US Army, and had been employed by Smith Corona and Cooper Tools. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed working in his garden. Frank is survived by his wife of 43 years Patricia Green Rich of Marietta, sons Shawn Rich of Marietta, Francis (Suzanne Figueroa-Rich) Rich Jr. of Wakefield N.H. stepsons Martin and Mark Brown of Marathon , sister Dawn Riley of Syracuse, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousin, his aunts Marlea Martin, and Sharon Yaple. In addition to his parents Frank was predeceased by his daughter Francine Rich, brother John Rich and step son Scott E. Brown. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland. Interment will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery . It was nice to see collage of pictures.It brought back some fond memoried of SCM days. I'll never forget Frank or that orange hunting hat with the flaps that he wore. Frank is one of the people that I enjoyed working with the most.Although i lost contact when I left Corona. I was always glad when I ran into you two at the store or where ever. Could talk to you and him just like I saw you yesterday.I'll say a prayer for Frank and even have a beer for him. Charlie card
