Florence O. Bostwick 82, of Cortland passed away May 5, 2010 in the Cortland Care Center. Flo was born August 15, 1927 in Cortland, the daughter of the late Robert and Cecile Willey Miller. Flo had been employed by Sears Roebuck and Marietta Corporation in Cortland, she was an avid birdwatcher, enjoyed gardening, doing crossword puzzles but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Flo is survived by her daughters Cecile (Michael) Monohan of DeRuyter, Elaine (Mark) Fire, and Kathy (Larry Shepard) Stanley both of Cortland, her five grandchildren, ten great €“grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and her sister in law Sue Miller of Cortland. In addition to her parents Flo was predeceased by her husband Albert Bostwick Jr. brothers Robert, Chuck, Jimmy and Stuart Miller and Sisters Ann Randall, and Helena Powers. A time of sharing will be celebrated at 1:00 pm Monday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. interment will follow in East Homer Cemetery. Friends are invited to call from 11:00 am €“ 12:45 pm prior to the service.
