Wayne E. Williams 52 of Homer passed away June 27, 2010 in University Hospital in Syracuse, NY Wayne was; born October 8, 1957 in Cortland the son of the late Spencer and Anna Horton Williams. Wayne served his country with the US Marines, and had been employed by Marietta for several years, he enjoyed building models, repairing cars, but most of all he enjoyed fishing. Wayne is survived by his wife of 34 yrs Brenda Casterline Williams of Homer, his children Lee (Trisha) Williams, of PA, April (Jim) Miller of Cortland, Jolena Williams of Syracuse, brothers Dale (Lucille) Williams of Cortland, Andrew (Jen) Williams of VT. Sister Patricia Phillips, Wilma (Ron) VanDee both of Cortland,Alice Jolena Weaver ofVirginia 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Wayne was predeceased by his brother Robert, sister Janet Williams, and Grandmother Gladys Mackley. Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Thursday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave. interment will follow in Glenwood Cemetery Homer.
