C. Rene Pistell 61, of Cortland, NY went to be with her Lord after a courageous
battle with cancer. November 4, 2010 at home surrounded by her family.
Rene was born May 6, 1949 in McKeesport, Pennsylvania the daughter of Angelo J
and Sally A. Bohlander Marraccini.
Rene was devoted to her Christian faith, and devoted to her Christian bible
study.
She had been employed at Henkel Corporation (RH Miller Company) of Homer.
Rene is survived by her husband of 32 years joseph Pistell of Cortland, her
daughter Jennifer (Daniel) Isaf of Syracuse, NY her step sons joseph (Cindy)
Pistell of Syracuse, NY, Lee Michael (Ruth) Pistell of Pasadena , Texas,
brothers Darrell Marraccini of Yerington , Nevada, Angelo J. (Michele)
Marraccini of Woodstock Georgia.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home
9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland, with the Reverend Jeff Heidt officiating. Interment
will be in Round Hill Cemetery Elizabeth Township, PA.
Friend are invited to call from 12:00 pm €“ 2:00 pm prior to the service.

Dear Joe, It is with deep sadness that I learned that Rene?s battle is over. I know words cannot describe the grief you and your family feel right now. I hope that her memories somehow help you to deal with this loss during this mourning period. She was a good friend and my life is that much better for having known her. Joe - I am so so sorry for your lose. I will miss Rene (Coleen so much. I always looked forward to seeing her on Tuesdays at the PGA Cancer Center. I'm so thankful our lives crossed paths.
