My Deepest Heartfelt Condolences to the Hess family on your loss of Katie. I didn't know Katie well, but what I did know of her, was her generous spirit and upbeat personality. She always had the ability to make one laugh, and she was always very caring and loyal to those she considered a friend. In heaven she will feel no more pain, and she will be very busy watching over all that she loved. Rest in Peace Katie! Sincerely, Mary Lou Mingle

I am beside myself. I cannot believe that Katie passed away. How can anyone so vibrant ( that is how I always remember her) be no longer with us. My heart is filled with sorrow. I offer my deepest sympathy to her parents, her who I knew so very well, her boys, and of course to my childhood best friend, her sister Felicia. Love Lisa Roth-Gulvin
