Kenneth Ken Holl, 55, of Homer passed away November 22, 2012 at home with family by his side.
He was a lifelong resident of the area graduating from Homer High School in 1975. He has been working at Homer Logging for many years and was currently co-owner. In his spare time he enjoyed NASCAR, golf, snowmobiling, sporting events, and playing cards with family. He had attended the Scott Methodist Church and was a past member of the Seven Valley Snowmobile Club. His greatest enjoyments were being with family and friends especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Elaine (Adams) Holl of Homer, his sons Brian (Jamie) Holl of Harford, joseph Holl of Cortland, Mathew Adams of Homer, Mark (Emily Perine) Brenchley of Marathon, his daughter Erin (Dave) Simmons of Cortland, his parents Ira and Shirley Holl of Homer, his brother Steven (Mary) Holl of Nashville Tenn., his sisters Patricia (Mike) Ryan of Homer, Susan (Steven) Hubbard of Homer, grandchildren Jordan Plyter, Mason Brenchley, Zachary Simmons, Casey (Scot) Neville, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his dogs Cali and Abigail.
Calling hours will be Wednesday 4-8 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 1 pm at the Scott United Methodist Church, Rt. 41, Scott NY. Burial will follow at the Scott Union Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Caring Community Hospice of Cortland County, 11 Kennedy Pkwy, Cortland NY, 13045 or charity of ones choice.
