Nellie Bush Mauzy Nefsey 91 of Cincinnatus passed away July 14, 2011 in Cortland Regional Medical Center.
Nellie was born January 13, 1920 in Cuyler the daughter of the late Orie and Ruth Hollenbeck Bush.
Nellie owned and operated Nefsey Rest Home in Cortland, and had been the first secretary of Home Care in Cortland. After retirement in 1977 Nellie moved to Florida, returning to Cortland in 1999, her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren
Nellie is survived by her children Sherman (Johann) Mauzy ,Jean Wood both of Cincinnatus Kevin (Viola) Miller of Truxton, Gloria Carr of Ohio, brother Gurdon Bush of Cortland, sister Ruth Angel of DeRuyter, 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren
Several great-great grandchildren several nieces, nephews, and cousins
In addition to her parents Nellie was predeceased by her first husband Russell Mauzy, second husband Harland Nefsey, son Roger Nefsey, brothers Chester, Orie and Gordon Bush, sisters Minnie, Audrey, Bernice, Beatrice and Pearl.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday July 30, 2001 at Grace Holy Spirit Church 13 Court St Cortland, NY Interment will follow in Cortland Rural Cemetery.
