Robert A. Baird Jr. passed on May 12, 2012 in Cortland, N.Y. Bob was born August 23, 1947. He is survived by his life partner Virginia Banks; father, Robert A. Baird Sr.; brothers, James Rupert, Dennis Beach and many friends. Bob loved his sports, fishing, gardens and his many pets. He will be missed by all. Callings hours are Wednesday, May 16, 11:00 am to 12:00 pm. Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, Inc. To offer online condolences visit www.wright-beard.com. Bob was a great guy and was loved by many. My daughter is 5 and remembers him from when she was 3 and he let her play on his swings.
