Obituary of Marjorie Smith Alch

Marjorie Smith Aldrich 86, of Cortland passed away July 27, 2012 in the Cortland Regional Medical Center. She was born July 16, 1926 in Truxton, NY the daughter of the late Thomas Arlie and Harriet T. Smith. She attended schools in Truxton and Cortland and was an area resident most her life. Marjorie was predeceased by her husband of 39 years Lawrence R Aldrich who died in 1997. She is survived by two brothers, Clifford I. Smith of Danville, KY and William T. Smith of Albuquerque, NM. and by two sisters, Jane Day of Dryden, NY, and Ruth E. Krull of Naples, Florida ,a nephew and three nieces. Private Services will be held at the Wright- Beard Funeral Home.
