Jamie Ruger went to be with the Lord and loved ones on October 23, 2012. She livedin Virgil, New York. Jamie was born in Goshen, New York on June 17, 1941. She was the loving partner of Sue Congdon for 43 years. Jamie enjoyed hunting, golfing, boating, fishing, watching birds and spending time with her extended family. She was greatly loved by all of her nieces and nephews, her brothers-in-law, and sisters-in-law. Jamie is survived by her uncle Ed Hedin, her aunt Dee Vermilling, her cousin Judy Cornish, as well as Sue Congdon, Eleanor Congdon, and the families of Linda Enders, Marlene Tinker, John Congdon, and the late Diane Hart. She was predeceased by her mother, Grace Hedin, and brother, Leonard Cutter. Services for Jamie will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Wright-Beard Funeral Home in Cortland. Calling hours are from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm with a service starting at 3:00 pm.
