Francis P. Daverin Jr., of Homer, NY died unexpectedly on June 1 following a long struggle with cancer. He is survived by his five children, sisters Ann and Joan (Guard), nieces and nephew. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm Thursday at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Avenue, Cortland, NY. Interment will follow at Glenwood Cemetery in Homer, NY. To offer online condolences visit www.wright-beard.com When I read about Frank's passing in Newsday, all I could think of was our early years when the cousins would visit either our house or yours on Sand Hill Road. Too many years have elapsed with few words exchanged between the families. My prayers are with you at this time of sorrow.
