Sharon K. Nichols 72, of Cortland, passed away August 6, 2013 in Syracuse, NY Sharon was born April 24, 1941 in Cortland, the daughter of the late Frederick and Bernice McMillen Kleine. Sharon had been employed in the Human Resources Department of the 1st National Bank of Cortland for over 30 years. She enjoyed crocheting, and sewing, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her husband of 53years Harold Nichols of Cortland, her children, Melissa (Robert) Carlo of Homer, Todd Nichols of Harford, grandchildren Maxim and Trent Nichols, her sisters Carol DeHart of Schenectady, and Donna Tumminia of Cortland, several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. In addition to her parents Sharon was predeceased by her brother Russell Kleine. Memorial services will be held 12:00 pm Saturday August 17 at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland. Friends are invited to call from 10:00 am €“ 11:45 am prior to the service.
