Obituary of Theresa N. ke

Theresa N. Drake, 57, of 35 1/2 Charles St., Cortland went to be with the angels September 10, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. Theresa was born September 13, 1955 in Cortland the daughter of the late Kenneth and Marjorie Woodward Tobin. Theresa had been a longtime resident of Cortland, She had graduated from Cortland High School and TC3. Theresa was a communicant of St. Marys Church. She had worked as a Government Certified Inspector for Morton-Thiokol in Utah for several years. After returning to the Cortland area she had worked at St. Marys School and most recently working for Cortland County office for the Aging caring for the elderly at the Heritage House. Theresa is survived by her husband of 34 years Melvyn Drake, her sons; Travis (Lauren) Jared (Jennifer Dineen) and Ryan all of Cortland. Her grandchildren; Kendrin Drake and Evan and Dillon Drake . Four brothers; John Tobin, Kevin Tobin, Timothy (Andrea) Tobin and Thomas (Andrea) Tobin all of Cortland. Her sister-In-law Vickey Tobin of Cortland and several nieces and nephews and cousins Theresa was predeceased by her parents and her brother Kenneth Tobin Jr. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Marys Church on Monday at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Marys Cemetery. Friends are invited to call on Sunday afternoon 1:00-3:00 PM at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave, Cortland.
