Louise Van Horn, 90, formerly of The Friendship House, Cortland, passed away September 15, 2013 in Naples, Fl; where she had been residing for many years. Mrs. Van Horn was employed with Crescent Corset for several years retiring in 1971. She had been a member of the Dryden Methodist Church. She is survived by her daughters Beverly (Wiebe) Van Marum, Eleanor (Roger) Westerrage, grandchildren Brenda Reid, Michael Martin, Randy Martin, Jerry Lake, Edward Lake, Haley Holl, her sisters Jean Ostrander and Peg Ostrander, her brother Ray Armstrong, several great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, which made her fifth generation matriarch of the family, along with nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was pre deceased by her first husband Richard Hilsinger Sr., and her second husband Peter Van Horn, her son Richard Hilsinger Jr. A graveside service will be held Friday 10:30 am at the Glenwood Cemetery, Homer NY.
