Curly was a hard worker. He held jobs as a gas station owner/operator, mechanic, and tractor trailer driver. His hobbies were photography, long drives in the country, having coffee with his friends, his grandchildren, model cars, computer generating photos. He also enjoyed NASCAR, football and shared this love with his family and friends alike.
He enjoyed life to the fullest and found joy in the nature that surrounded him. He could see the smallest detail and would photograph it in the split moment. During his drives he was known to carry his camera and would stop and take a picture as he seen an opportune time. During NASCAR races and football games he was known to receive phone calls from his daughter as they discussed and enjoyed them together. They were even known to wager a friendly cup of coffee bet for when they would see each other next. Curly was also known to take his son on his improptu drives along the country side.
His smile, his walk, and talk will stick with those that knew him well. His enjoyment of family and friends will be missed deeply. However, as you sit back and think of Curly, you can remember and enjoy the thought that he is now our guardian angel.
