Charles (C.T.) Treadwell Redfield, 67, of Cortland, NY passed away
unexpectedly on Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014.
Born Sept. 29, 1946, in Cortland, he was the son of the late Charles
and Reva Redfield.
C.T. graduated from Homer Central High School in 1964. He spent the
better part of his career working for Monarch Machine & Tool in
Cortland, NY. C.T. was an avid outdoorsman, who particularly loved
hunting. He was able to take his dream trip to Alaska in 2003. C.T.
enjoyed spending time with his family and his dog, Bailey and dearly
loved his fourteen young grandchildren. He was a long time member of
Bible Baptist Church in Cortland.
C.T. is survived by his wife of 47 years, Lynne (Nelson), his
children: Amy (Jay) LeBlanc of Homer, Robb (Sandra) of Locke, Erin
(Jesse) Owens of LaFayette; his 14 grandchildren: Eliza, Zachary,
Gabriel, Michael, Madelyn, Matthew, Paul, Andrew, Jackson, Daniel,
Rachel, Levi, Samuel, and Sawyer. He is also survived by his sisters:
Wilma Fairchild of Homer/Florida, and Mary (Alfred) Marshall of
Cortland.
Services will be held at 12 noon on Mon., Jan. 20 at Bible Baptist
Church, 15 West Road, Cortland. The family will receive visitors at
the church from 10-12 prior to the service.
