It is always sad to hear of the passing of an old friend or classmate. My prayers go out to Marion's family and friends. We were classmates at Homer Central High School, class of 1960. Although I rarely saw Marion after high school, I fondly remember our class reunions which gave us the opportunity to fill in the gaps of missing years. May God give his family the strength to get past these dark days and remember the brightness of Marion's life while he was with us.

As fellow members of the Class '60, we knew Marion from his first day at Homer. During our school years he often sat directly in front of me & we'd engage in numerous debates relative to the period, presumably preparing him for his many stands in the future. Never one to shy away from a controversial issue, I believe our communities need more like him.
R.I.P. Marion.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Niez. Over the years he has told many a good story in the barn or standing out next to my vehicle, and always had a laugh to share along the way. I haven't seen Niez as of late, and will miss seeing him in Pucker Hollow! Rest in peace now, until we meet again!

So sorry to hear of Marion's passing...we were high school classmates, class of '60, and I enjoyed seeing him at all of our reunions. We never agreed politically or on fracking, but I always enjoyed our lively conversations on both.

Marion was a member of the Homer Class of 1960. He attended all of our reunions and kept in touch with his classmates. He was a master of the art of sarcasm, and he enjoyed starting lively convrsations, especially about farming and politics.
He always had a twinkle in his eye. We were fond of him, and we will miss him.

Our deepest sympathy at the loss of Marion. He was a member of Cortland Bulk Milk for several years and always had a story or joke to tell when he came to the plant. He will be missed.
