Marlowe I. Tefft, 68, of Cortland passed away on February 18, at the Cortland Regional Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born December 27, 1945 in Oxford to the late Henry and Vivian Monroe Tefft.
Marlowe attended Oxford High School, and moved to the Cortland area to work on dairy farms. He made the change to being a tool and die maker, retiring from Brewer Tichner. In his free time he enjoyed bowling, hunting, and fishing.
In addition to his parents he is pre-deceased by one brother Marlin Tefft and his wife Joanne Tefft.
Marlowe is survived by his sons Gary (Denise Swink) Tefft, Terry (Susie) Tefft, Tom (Becky) Funkhauser, brothers; Marcene (Barbara), Martin (Kristi), sisters; Juanita(Gorden) Burdick, Laurena Turner, Arletta Mease, 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends Mike Enderss, Terry Strauff and many others.
A burial will take place in the spring at the Pharsalia Cemetery.
