Timothy "Tim" Richard Moore, 50, of Cortland went home to be with his Lord and his recently departed mother May 20, 2014 at the Beechtree Nursing Home, Ithaca with family by his side after a long battle with cancer. Tim was a lifelong resident of Cortland graduating from Cortland High School in 1982. Tim had worked for various companies as a handyman who was capable of handling any projects and was a jack of all trades. He was currently working for his good friend and employer Al Barbeiri. Tim enjoyed hunting and playing pool in league for the St. Charles Hotel. His family and friends will remember and cherish his memory for his relaxed demeanor, always enjoying a good time, and being happy to see you. He is survived by his father Robert Moore, his brothers David Moore, Andy (Rhonda) Moore, Rev. James (Elizabeth) Moore, nieces and nephews Jayson, Jeffrey, Stephanie, and Jacqueline along with numerous friends. Tim was predeceased by his mother Shirley E. Moore March 2, 2014. Calling hours will be Thursday May 29, 12:30-1:45 pm with a funeral service to begin 2 pm at the Wright-Beard Funeral Home Inc., 9 Lincoln Ave., Cortland NY, 13045.
