Reginald J. Maricle Sr., 60, of Cortland passed away on May 27, 2014 at Cortland Regional Medical Center. He was born on February 12, 1954 in Cortland to the late Nelson and Frances Coville Maricle. Reginald is a lifelong resident of the Cortland area. He graduated from Marathon High School and worked at Salisbury Fire Equipment. Most recently he worked as a drill operator at Apex Tools in Cortland. Reggie was a skilled electrician and mechanic. He enjoyed playing his guitar, drag racing, motorcycles, working on and fixing friends and family member's cars and relaxing at Turing Stone Casino. In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his brother Fred, sisters; Joyce and Dora. He is survived by his wife Mary Jo, sons; Reginald Jr. of Homer, Daniel (Teather) of Cortland, Bill Keegan of Cortland, daughter Andreia Maricle of Syracuse, 8 grandchildren, brothers; Ron, David, Kevin, Charlie, sisters; Patty, Helene, Linda, several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 10-12PM at Wright-Beard Funeral Home, 9 Lincoln Ave. Cortland, with a service to follow at 12:00PM.
